Our friendly staff share fun and educational programs for everyone in the family—from early learning to history to live music, our dynamic roster of events and programs is sure to interest our visitors. We offer a separate children’s area for families to enjoy; a meeting room available for booking; public computers & Wi-Fi access; and printing, copying, and fax services (fees apply), all supplied by helpful staff. Parking is never a problem with our spacious attached lot, and our collection of over 30,000 items is sure to have something for everyone to discover. Our Jordan Richardson Reading Garden offers a quiet outdoor space to enjoy a book or come inside for comfortable seating.

Dillsburg Happenings - April 2026

Spring into a great deal at the Dillsburg Area Public Library! Our Spring Used Book Sale returns from April 18 through April 25, featuring prices from $.50 to $2.00 and our famous $5 fill-a-bag day on the final Saturday. This month, you can also join us for a Kids Wind STEM challenge, explore local hiking trails with Director Keith Greenawalt, or learn to grow an herb garden!
